1969 Ford F100
Long bed 1/2 ton
Custom Cab 2wd
Daily Driver
This is a truck Charles Bronson would drive
and as a matter of fact, he drove almost the same
exact truck in the movie "Mr Myjestic" Im tempted
to stencil the name used in the movie on the doors
of the truck :) (google the vid clip, its awesome!)
These long bed survivor trucks are the next big
thing, as is survivors or resto-modded ! Builders
like this are getting harder to find.
LOW fair reserve !! We want to sell vehicles, not sit
on themFOR 3 MONTHS.
..................................................... CLEAN TITLE IN HAND
We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors
and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics.
Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller
If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont
bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on
wondering if we are real or not.
FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback
on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also
shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating
for a reason,... try trusting it.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
I call it a survivor because its not been heavily modded
Has had at least 1 repaint, close to factory color and in fair shape.
Interior is pretty OE too. Basic F100 thats stood the test
of time. 45+ yrs later....very solid, min rot or rust.
The bottom parts of both doors / outter mostly got the most rot.
You can see some bubbling in the pics. Rest of the lower parts
of the body are in really nice shape. SEE PICS BELOW.
BELOW ILL BE LISTING ALL THE RECENT NEW PARTS INSTALLED
ON THIS F100 before its road trip from Oregon.
Receipts for all the work done and prior repairs over the yrs will
come with the vehicle for the new owner.
Ive been all under and over this truck and its about 90% rot free.
When viewing it from underneath, youll see a few pin holes on the
front floorboards on the low spots of the pan. Thanks to Fords rubber
floormats, the front floorboards on the Inside where you put your feet
took the worst of it. They are better actually then you may expect
and for a daily, they are finedepending on what look you wanted.
The top part of the bed took on some rust, but again this truck was used
as a wood hauling truck in Oregon for most of its life. Mileage on the
odometer shows about 75k, and knowing its history, it could be original.
If you look Under the truck and you will see in
the pics below, areas where some of the original basic Ford undercoating
has dried up and fallen off revealing bare metal in a few areas.
Not surprising, because its been in AZ its whole life and therockers, cab
corners and rest of the truck is in very solid shape. (SEE PICS BELOW)
WHY buy an eastcoast rust bucket IF YOU DONT HAVE TO ~!?
Its been in an original Az vehicle its whole life
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
DRIVETRAIN: factory V8, I believe its the original big block
FE 360 V8 2v. Matted to that is Fords typical factory truck 4 spd
and factory floor mounted shifter. All is in great working order too.
Starts well, and runs and drives great. This truck was recently driven
from Oregon to Tucson and before it made the road trip, let me
list out some of the things repaired in the last yr before the trip.
NEW in the last 3k miles: flywheel - starter - plugs - wires - timing
Chain set - starter solenoid- coil - belt - Petronix Electric conversion
battery - fuel pump - radiator hoses - thermostat -rebuilt
carb.
Engine sounds good and runs well, has minor oil leaks around
the oil pan. Ive driven it around town alot before the exhaust
pipe snapped. It got a little loud after that. The new owner can
decide how they want to approach the new exhaust system.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics. Very original and and
not in all bad shape at all. Id say its better then normal wear
and tear. Could use a new dash pad. Windows all work. Glass
all is in great shape.See below. Current radio not working.
The gauge lens could use a cleaning or replaced.
Some gauges work, some dont. Fuel gauge not working. Glass all is good.
Bench seat could use recovering & factory padded dash is dry and old.
Very presentable for a daily driver or weekend cruiser...
just add a some tunes, recover the ft seat, and its not a bad work
truck or weekend cruiser.
NEW: turn signal switch - brake light switch
EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age. Has
had a least one repaint many yrs ago, which is very flat
these days. Custom Cab chrome trim mostly all missing.
Overall, the Body is in great shape for being almost 50 yrs
old. Just has a few minor dents here n there. SEE PICS.
Rust or rot I should say is non existent on the body.
WORST SPOT ARE ON BOTH LOWER OUTTER DOORS and
THE Bottom of the outter part of the tailgate.
Easy fixes if you decide to restore it.
Much nicer by comparison to a truck this old from the eastcoast.
the paint easily acceptable for a daily driver.
Patina trucks at all the cruise nites are becoming the next
big thing. With stock drivetrains or resto-modded.
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
We didnt hear any weird noises or clunks while driving it around. It Im sure
will need some work soon like bushings etc, but as is its driving around ok.
Its 40+ yrs old, but was taken care of and not off roaded or trashed.
I even drove it over a few curbs in the neighborhood to see
if it made any horrid noises. This truck is built Ford Tough :)
NEW: rear shocks - brake work front and rear all around - master
cylinder. (needs front shocks asap, yes)
Mostly just surface rust under the car
making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you go, probably The BEST represented
early FORD F100s on Ebay. Follow us !!
Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
