Up for sale we have a 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe. This is a factory A code car that has had a beautiful restoration. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Mustang. The body is straight down the sides and has a great fit of the doors, hood, and trunk. Everything is covered in the Signal Flare Red color scheme that's accented by the Black Vinyl Top and Black Side Stripe. The paint has been buffed and polished to a gorgeous shine. All the trim and stainless is very nice with a lot of appearing to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. You'll notice all the glass is also in great condition with the side glass going up and down as it should. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15" Magnum 500 Wheels with the BFG Red Lines tires.
Next we will look at the interior of the '66. On the inside it's done in the Parchment Crinkle vinyl and has the Palomino Accents with the Pony Interior package. The seat covers are all in great condition and appear to have been replaced at the time of the restoration. It does have bucket seats and console that runs up to the A/C unit and houses the Automatic Shifter. Looking at the dash you will see it has the wood grain trim to match the console and that is also has the Woodgrain Steering Wheel. In the trunk all appears to be solid and has the trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it features what we believe is the original 289 Engine. It's setup with the correct Intake and Carb with the Carb tag still there. The 289 Engine is mated to the C4 Automatic Trans and 8" Open Rear end with 3.00 Gears. For exhaust it's got the stock style manifolds with new pipes and mufflers with the factory Tips. Now this Mustang does come with some great driver options. Along with Air Conditioning it has Power Steering as well as Disc Brakes on the front. When we look under this '66 you can see that all of the frame and floors appear rock solid and are detailed in the red oxide and black.
