Car description

This 5-Window Coupe shines brighter than a Faberge egg but it's a whole lot more fun to play with! Classic styling pays tribute to the automotive designers of the early 20th century, while modern running gear makes it drive like a dream.
Start with the upright good looks of an early Ford, then make it look even better by pulling off the fenders and hood. Sweet! Then dress it all up to show it off with an expertly applied coat of orange paint with just a little metallic to it which adds a subtle touch of flash. The look is stunning from the very first impression. Then, as you notice the attention paid to all the little details, it gets even better. For example, the front axle and frame rails received just as much love as the body did during repaint and are show worthy by themselves. It complements, but doesn't compete with, the copious amounts of chrome and polished metal that is on display everywhere else on the car. A bit of chassis rake gives this car a serious looking stance, and that look is reinforced by those wide rear tires and open headers.
Open the door and inside you will find a comfortable black cloth interior with white highlights. The bench seat is pleated with white piping, and the headliner matches the pleating and adds a white center panel. Door panels carry through with the pleated theme and the carpets offer a soft black texture. The feeling the interior creates with the soft upholstery is rather comforting. The trunk is even trimmed in soft black carpet with plenty of room to carry whatever you need for a cruise to the show, or a cruise to the beach. Orange paint carries through to the dashboard with the tach, speedo, and VDO engine gauges set in a billet aluminum panel in the center. There is a black and chrome deep dish steering wheel mounted on a tilt column, and a white shift ball mounted on a chrome stalk controls the 4-speed manual transmission. And putting that transmission to work can move things from comfortable to exciting in this interior!
That's because the running gear on this car is built for excitement. It starts with a 327 sourced from a 1967 Corvette. The engine builder then upped the game by installing a competition cam, Camelback heads, and an Edelbrock carb and intake. Then the show team took over and dressed it up by polishing everything aluminum to a mirror like shine and adding plenty of chrome. To add even more flash, the firewall was mirrored to catch the surrounding light and reflect it off the engine. The underside of this car looks as good as the topside too, with a chromed starter and oil filter as well as suspension pieces. This car will sound really awesome cruising the boulevard too, because those trick headers lead to open pipes for your listening pleasure. All this show and go gets put to the ground through a coil over rear suspension and 285/70R15 tires. The front sits on 145/15 tires reinforcing the drag racing look.
Come on down and check out this shining example of a classic street rod. And bring your sunglasses with you. That way, when you drive it home, you can enjoy looking at it with the sun shining off of it in your driveway.
