Car description |

Up for auction is a 1955 Ford F100 Panel Delivery Restomod. It is a running driving 95% complete street rod. This truck was essentially rust free when we started. It is built on the original frame rails, now completely boxed with a full custom independent front and rear 1987 Corvette suspension. The suspension kit was provided by Flat-out Engineering in California. It is powered by a 1987 Ford fuel injected 5.0 with a Ford AOD transmission. A new Ford Racing wiring harness was installed with the fuel injection system. It has a few minor body modifications including customized tail lights, gas filler door, power side windows and a forward tilt hood. It also has removable rear seats with a steel floor from a donor minivan. There are few things that need finishing mainly the rear bumper and interior. Included in the sale is the original rear bumper with brackets and 22 yards of a light cream colored ultra leather. The front seats are from a Chevrolet pickup truck and have built in seat belts.
You've heard it before 1,000's invested, stalled project and selling for less than I have in it. The short version is I have too many other projects pulling me away from this truck. In my opinion it is an opportunity to own and finish this very desirable, rare F100.I would consider a trade for a 2009 or newer Duramax Diesel Crew Cab Pickup truck of equal value. Must be a clean rust free southern truck.
