1975 Ford F-250 XLT Ranger 4x4 Highboy that I just brought home from Phoenix, Arizona. This truck was assembled in San Jose, California and sold new in Arizona. This truck was owned buy the original purchasers family until 1 1/2 years ago when the second owner purchased it and used it as a daily driver in the Phoenix area. That makes me the 3rd owner. The truck has original Paint and is 99% rust free. The truck has had some major upgrades in the last few years.
The Chassis :
Power steering has been upgraded to a newer integral power steering box and linkage (originally having a external power assist system). At the same time the front differential was upgraded to power disc front brakes ( originally drum brakes) and super winch brand lockout hubs, also the transfer was upgraded to a part time configuration and new drive shafts were installed utilizing CV type joints at the transfer case connection. There is an auxiliary fuel tank under the left side of the bed (I have not tried to use this fuel tank). Recently the front and rear brakes including calipers, drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder where installed. The alternator and voltage regulator are new and charges at 14.2 volts, the thermostat and coolant are new and good to 40 below, 16" tires and wheels with 90% tread.
Engine and Trans:
Built 390 CI big block engine with C7AE-A Cyl Heads and D3TE Block, Crane Cams Camshaft, Mallory Ignition, Eldabrock aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, etc. (originally had a 360 2 barrel engine). C6 Automatic Transmission with shift kit.
The exterior :
XLT Ranger trim, Paint appears to be all original with the normal wear and tare associated with daily use, the truck has a tool box in the right bed side and there is a body trim molding missing on the bed side tool box door. Swing lock style mirrors with old school after market mirror sliders for trailer towing. There is repairable damage to the drivers door. The bed is in good condition with an older spray in bed liner that is holding up very well. The tail gate is exceptionally straight and shows normal wear. The original under bed spare carrier is still there and looks to be in good condition.
The Interior :
XLT Ranger trim, Air Conditioning (AC NEEDS SERVICED, currently no belt on AC pump), Fuel tank selector valve, Everything in the cab seems to work. The carpet looks pretty good, The seat has a tare in the cover but the springs and foam seem good.
There is a receiver style Hitch. also a RV style trailer plug in the rear step bumper and an old school type hydraulic actuated brake controller under the dash,( I have not had an opportunity to tow a trailer with this truck)
I brought back two trucks from Arizona and only have time to enjoy one of them therefore I have decided to offer this truck for sale. I have not washed or cleaned any part of the truck therefore no issues have been hidden or concealed.
I have a clear Ohio title in hand.
