Car description |
---|
I understand this to be a late 1947 Ford Woody based on the trim and tail lights.
This car was owned by the same person since the early 60's and stored in doors. It was original from Seattle so it is not a rust belt car. The car was driven into dry storage 20 years and was operating fine. It sat for about 15 years and my father in law decided that he should do some maintenance before attempting to drive it again. He removed the carb and radiator for rebuilding. The radiator has been re cored but has not been installed. He then passed away before having a chance to reassemble the car. Most parts to get it running should be there, I just hesitate to say all parts are there because there could be some bolts or something misplaced.
The hub caps are not pictured but on the car now. The driver side wood had been revarnished. The rear passenger door is currently unbolted in order to refinish but sanding has not started.
All 3 seats are installed and there is an upholstery kit included. It has the optional fresh air intake included as well.
