1949 ford sedan. I purchased about 5 years ago from an estate in Georgia. Had been in a warehouse since 1960. Cleaned it up and got it running and stopping properly and have enjoyed driving it. Some things I did notice is that it has a replaced (rust free OEM) front drivers fender, and that the door had been painted. Guessing the original owner had a minor incident. Work was done sometime in the 50's. NO bondo was used. I do have the trim not seen in the pictures. I have not installed because I have not decided to paint it or clear coat it. Doors shut amazing for a 49 ford. All windows roll up and down smooth and wings all work and lock. Hood has its normal rub at the cowl. I have adjusted it the best it will get. The rest of the car has whats left of the original paint. Under side of car is dirty, but very nice. Has a very serviceable exhaust system with no leaks. Noticed that the trans drips very little. I installed new radiator hoses, spark plugs, wires, points/condenser, and cap. Shoe Box Central has been a very good source. Bias Ply tires are not new. Keys for trunk, glovebox, and ignition/doors . Brake lights work. Radio does not. HEATER DELETE. It is really hard to believe just how clean this old car is unless you see it. Feel free to ask any questions or come on by to see it and drive it.
