THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL AND HARD TO FIND ALL ORIGINAL SURVIVOR 1968 FORD F250 WITH JUST 118K ORIGINAL MILES!! THIS SUPER CLEAN LITTLE F250 HAS BEEN EXTREMELY WELL CARED FOR AND LOVED FOR IT'S 50 YEAR LIFE AND STILL WEARS IT'S GORGEOUS 100 % ORIGINAL COAT OF RAGOON RED PAINT OVER RED INTERIOR. THIS CLASSIC BLUE OVAL HAS THE PATINA AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF AGED LOOK THAT PEOPLE SPEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY AND SKILLED TIME TO REPLICATE. WE PURCHASED THIS TRUCK FROM PIERRE FORD IN SEATTLE, WHEN THE ORIGINAL OWNER BROUGHT IN THIS BEAUTY AND HIS 96 POWERSTROKE WHEN HE FELT IT WAS TIME FOR A NEW TRUCK. IT IS HARD TO FIND ANY CLASSIC WITH LOW NUMBER OF OWNER, BUT ITS INCREDIBLE ANY TIME YOU CAN FIND A 50 YEAR OLD VEHICLE THAT THE SAME FAMILY THAT DROVE IT OFF THE LOT NEW STILL RETAINED OWNERSHIP THIS LONG EVEN THROUGH ALL THE CHANGES A PERSON GOES THROUGH IN THEIR LIFE. THIS BEAUTY JUST HAS AN INCREDIBLE PRESENCE AND ASCETIC APPEAL ABOUT IT THAT JUST TELLS IT'S STORY SITTING STILL WITH IT'S BEAUTIFUL GLOSSY FACTORY PAINT AND TASTEFUL PATINA WITH SLIGHT WEAR AND AGING ON PAINT. THIS HAS A VERY SOLID AND 98.% CANCER FREE TRUCK ON A SUPER STRAIGHT ORIGINAL BODY THAT HAS THOSE SOLID VAULT LIKE SHUTTING DOORS THAT EMIT A SOUND THAT ONLY A HIGH END BRIEFCASE CAN REPLICATE AND THAT EVERY CAR GUY LOVES TO HEAR ! AS MANY OF YOU WHO HAVE SEEN OUR AUCTIONS IN THE PAST YOU KNOW WE ARE ALWAYS ON THE HUNT FOR CLEAN CLASSICS BUT ESPECIALLY ORIGINAL SURVIVORS, OFF BALLS AND CLASSIC TRUCKS, SO THIS TRUCK BEING THE PERFECT COMBO OF TWO IT JUST SIMPLY HAD TO BE OURS. IT IS CLEAR BY THE AMAZING COMPLETE AND ORIGINAL CONDITION OF THIS TRUCK THAT THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO OWNED IT SINCE NEW THAT THEY TRULY LOVED THIS TRUCK AS ANY AUTO ENTHUSIAST KNOWS IT IS KNOW SMALL FEAT AND NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP A VEHICLE THIS NICE AND ORIGINAL FOR NEARLY 50 YEARS WHILE STILL USING AND ENJOYING IT, ESPECIALLY A 3/4TON TRUCK!! THIS TRUCK STILL HAS ALL IT'S ORIGINAL GLASS INCLUDING THE WINDSHIELD THAT STILL HAS THE FACTORY EMBLEM IN THE THE CORNER, ALL IT'S ORIGINAL HUBCAPS AND WHEN I PULLED THE FRONT TURN SIGNALS TO CHECK THE BULBS I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW CLEAN AND NEW IT LOOKED IN THERE, SHOWING THIS TRUCK HAS SPENT A LOT OF TIME STORED SAGELY INSIDE. ( A PIC IS POSTED ON THE AD ) THIS F250 HAS A CLEAR WASHINGTON STATE TITLE AND WILL BE LISTED AS MILES EXEMPT ON PURCHASE ORDER DUE DO TO 5 DIGIT ODOMETER LAW THAT MOST STATE HAVE. WITH THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE TRUCK WE BELIEVE THE ODOMETER SHOWING 18,805 HAS ROLLED OVER ONCE TO BE 118,80, BUT USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT AND BID ON CONDITION.BODY-THE BODY AND PAINT ON THIS TRUCK IS TRULY MY FAVORITE PART, IT IS IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE HARDEST TO FIND AND BEST LOOKING COLORS OFFERED IN THIS ERA OF TRUCK. WHILE IT IS CALLED RED IT ACTUALLY LOOKS ORANGE AND IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE OTHER FORD COLOR CALLED CALYPSO CORRAL AND CHEVYS HUGGER ORANGE. THE PAINT HAS THE RIGHT LOOK AND AGE MOST OF US ARE LOOKING FOR ON A SURVIVOR TO DRIVE AS IS OR TO CUSTOMIZE INTO THAT SHOP / FARM TRUCK BUILD. IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL EQUALLY AGED PAINT THAT STILL HAS A VERY GLOSSY AND SMOOTH FINISH ON A VERY SOLID NORTHWEST DRY BODY WITH VERY LITTLE CANCER. IT IS ALL THE 1968 ORIGINAL LACQUER PAINT THAT HAS THAT KILLER CORRECT ERA SHINE ONLY LACQUER PAINT CAN GIVE. FOR 5 DECADES OF USE THERE HAS BEEN NO ABUSE OR MAJOR USE IN THE BED THAT HAS CAUSED ANY MAJOR DAMAGE AND THERE IS NO RUST BEYOND THE SURFACE RUST YOU GET WHEN THE PAINT GETS WORN AWAY OVER THE YEARS. IT HAS NICE STRAIGHT FRONT BULKHEAD AND TAILGATE THAT IS PERFECTLY STRAIGHT AND SHUTS AND CLOSES WITH EASE. THIS F250 HAS THAT PERFECT PATINA PAINT WEAR ON THE SIDES OF HOOD, TOPS OF FENDERS, UNDER THE GLASS ON THE DOORS AND ON TOP EDGES OF THE BED SIDES LOOKS KILLER WITH THE GLOSSY AND AGED LOOK ON THE ORIGINAL ORANGE PAINT ESPECIALLY WITH THE WORN FACTORY WHITE PAINT ON THE FORD TEXT OF THE TAILGATE. ALL GLASS IS THE ORIGINAL WITH CORRECT CARLITE LOGO. YOU CAN TELL BY ONE GLANCE HOW SOLID AND HONEST THIS TRUCK IS BY THE PICS ON THE TOP OF THE ROCKERS, BOTTOM OF DOORS, FLOORBOARDS, BODY MOUNTS, UNDERSIDE OF ROCKERS, CAB CORNERS, BOTTOM SIDE OF BED, REAR BED CORNERS, INNER WHEEL WELLS AND ALL THE OTHER HIGH RUST AREAS ON THIS GENERATION OF FORDS. THE ONLY RUST THAT WE COULD FIND IS SEEN ON THE LOWER OUTER CORNER OF THE DOORS, ON THE PASSENGER SIDE INNER OUTER EDGE OF HOOD ON THE UNDERSIDE, UNDER THE BATTERY AND ON THE FIREWALL ABOVE THE PASSENGER SIDE HOOD HINGE. IT IS ONE THING TO HAVE AGE AND PATINA, BUT TO HAVE THE APPEALING LOOKING PATINA IN ALL THE RIGHT SPOTS LIKE THIS TRUCK IS HARD TO FIND AND IT IS TRULY A ONE OF A KIND TRUCK! THIS CLASSIC IS ARROW STRAIGHT, BUT CLEARLY SHOWS AGE WITH 50 YEAR OLD PAINT WEAR WITH SOME FADING, CHIP, WORN OFF PAINT AND LITTLE SURFACE SCRATCHES, BUT TO ME THAT ADDS THE DESIRE AND VALUE OF THIS TRUCK. I HAVE MANY CLOSE UP PICS OF THE TRIM AND PAINT AND IT CAN ALSO BEEN SEEN IN THE VIDEO ALONG WITH ANY WEARIN THE PAINT, BUT IF MORE ARE NEEDED LET ME KNOW. IT HAS NO BIG DENTS OR SCRAPS, BUT IT DOES HAVE SOME CHARACTER MARKS WITH A COUPLE SCRATCHES DOWN THE RIGHT FENDER AND DOOR, THE TIGHT TAILLIGHT HAS FADING AND A CRACK, THERE IS A FEW COMMONLY SEEN SCREW HOLES ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT ARCH OF THE COWL FROM OLD STYLE CAMPER SUPPORTS, THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BUMPER AT SOME POINT GOT PUSHED IN A LITTLE AND TOUCHED THE BED THAT CAUSED A LITTLE OUTWARD PUCKER IN THE BOTTOM LEFT REAR WHEEL WELL LIP. THIS WELL LOVED AND CARED FOR CLASSIC IS VERY HARD TO FIND NOT ONLY IN UN-MOLESTED ORIGINAL CONDITIO, BUT VERY HARD TO FIND ONE OF THIS CALIBER IN THIS BEAUTIFUL AND SOLID CONDITION LIKE THIS LITTLE BEAUTY :)INTERIOR-INSIDE IT IS ALL ORIGINA, INTACT AND IN NICE CLEAN SHAPE! IT HAS NO ODORS OR LEAKS INSIDE, THE DOORS POP RIGHT OPEN WITH EASEAND SHUT LIKE NEW WITH ONE SOLID SOUND WITH NOSAGGING AND HAS NICE GLOSSY PAINT THROUGHOUT THE JAMBS. THE FRONT FLY WINDOWS ARE TIGHT AND LOCK AND THE SIDE WINDOWS ROLL UP AND DOWN SMOOTHLY, BUT YOU STILL GET SOME WIND NOISE IN AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. THE ORIGINAL RUBBER FLOOR MAT IS INTACT AND IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO DRY CRACKS OR CHUNKS MISSING. THE ORIGINAL BENCH FEELS AND RIDES COMFORTABLY AND CURRENTLY HAS A COVER ON IT BECAUSE THE VINYL ON THE PASSENGER BOTTOM SITTING AREA IS WORN, BUT ODDLY THE DRIVER SIDE IS IN GREAT SHAPE. NICE ARM RESTS, THE SUN VISORS AND HEADLINER ARE COMPLETE AND LOOK GOOD WITH MINOR WEAR AND AGING. THE GAUGES ARE NICE AND CLEAR, WORK PROPERLY ALONG WITH THE LIGHTS ALONG WITH THE WIPERS AND THE HEATER THAT BLOWS VERY WARM. IT HAS A NICE DASH PAD WITH JUST A LITTLE BIT OF THE CENTER SPEAKER HOLE DAMAGED, THE STEREO WAS PULLED OUT AT SOME POINT, THE E-BRAKE IS MISSING THAT IS CAUSING THE LITTLE E-BRAKE LIGHT ON THE LOWER LEFT TO STAY ON. OVERALL IT SHOWS SOME MINOR AGE, BUT FOR 50 YEARS OLD SHE'S HELD UP GREAT!MECHANICAL- THIS OLD F-SERIES IS VERY TIGHT AND SOLID MECHANICALLY ANDIS A VERY STRONG , QUIET AND SMOOTH RUNNER WITH NO HESITATION, TICKING, SMOKING, BIG LEAKS OR ISSUES. IT DRIVES AND STOPS STRAIGHT AND TIGHT JUST AS IT SHOULD WITH NO SURPRISES. IT HAS THE FACTORY 360 V8 THAT FIRES RIGHT UP EVERY TIME WITH A MANUAL CHOKE AND THE OWNER PUT HEADERS ON LONG AGO THAT GIVES THAT 360 A LITTLE MORE SOUND. THIS F250 GIVES A SMOOTH RIDE WITH A NICE RESPONSIVE THROTTLE WHETHER ON THE FREEWAY OR BUMPY BACK ROADS. IT HAS THE MANUAL 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH GRANNY LOW THAT HAS A TIGHT SYNCHROS WITH NICE H SHIFT PATTERN AND NO SLOPPY SHIFTER FEEL OR GRIND THEM UNTIL YOU FIND THEM DRIVES. THE CLUTCH PRESSURE FEELS GOOD, THERE IS NO GEAR SLIPPING, BUT THE CLUTCH PEDAL FEELS LIKE IT GRABS A LITTLER HIGHER THEN IT SHOULD TO ME. IT HAS MANUAL STEERING THAT IS VERY TIGHT AND TRACKS STRAIGHT, BUT REMINDS YOU HOW DIFFERENT TRUCKS WERE 50 YEARS AGO AND FOR SOME REASON EVEN THOUGH THE TRUCK DRIVERS STRAIGHT THE STEERING WHEEL SITS SLIGHTLS TURNED WHEN GOING STRAIGHT. IT HAS FIRM AND STRAIGHT STOPPING POWER FRONT BRAKES THAT DO NOT SHAKE OR PULL. THIS FORDS ENGINE BAY IS ORIGINAL AND SANITARY FOR IT'S AGE ALONG WITH THE UNDERSIDE OF THE BODY THAT IS IN A NICE HONEST STATE, BUT IS NOT SPOTLESS WHICH I CALL ITS NATURAL STATE THAT SHOWS IT HAS BEEN USE, BUT ALSO CARED FOR. LIKE ANY CLASSIC OR OLDER CARBURETOR FED VEHICLE WHEN IT HAS IT'S FIRST COLD START OF THE DAY IT IS AT IT'S BEST IF THE CHOKE IS ALLOWED TO DO IT'S JOB AND LET THE TRUCK RUN AT IDLE FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE YOU HIT THE ROAD. THIS TRUCK DRIVES AND RIDES AS GOOD AS ANY STOCK 68 F250 CAN AND IS READY FOR SOME WEEKENDS DUTY'S, BACK ROADS OR CAN BE TAKEN ON THE HIGHWAY :) NOT ONLY COSMETICALLY DOES THIS TRUCK TELL A VISUAL STORY, BUT INSIDE IT HAS A GREAT CLASSIC FEELING AND PRESENCE OF A LOVING OWNER, SO PLEASE THOROUGHLY LOOK THROUGH THE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS AS IT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND A TRUCK WITH THIS CLASS OF CHARACTER AND ORIGINAL CONDITION.
