1979 Ford F-150 4X4 EXPLORER!!! LIFTED, LONGBED PICKUP, VERY NICE!!!

1979 FORD F150 "EXPLORER"!!! 4X4. Equipped with factory AC Welcome Ebayer's. up for auction is a 1979 Ford F150 Custom "Explorer" model. very rare to find! it is a awesome specimen of a true original 70's classic 4x4 that has been well cared for. Please enjoy my ad and the pictures!The truck's engine has been replaced with a rebuilt 351 V8 engine with only 10. 00 miles since rebuild. It runs excellent. Very Powerful. starts up very easy. just turn the key and go. It has a Edelbrock carburetor. and Edelbrock intake manifold. It Idles great. when you drive it. you feel like the king of the road. It has a 4 speed manual tranny. I believe it too has been rebuilt. it shifts nice and smooth. clutch feels great. may have also been replaced. truck stops ok. unaware of any work done to brakes. I believe its got but not for sure a Dana 60 rear/44 front. Np 205 center diff. 4 wheel drive works fine. locking hubs turn with a smooth click. It has a 6 inch lift kit. which is very cool! It gives this truck the perfect height. It has 4 "Brand New" 35 inch BF Goodrich All Terrain tires with less then 50 miles on them. white label is still in tread. nbsp;(see picture). if you know tires. you know these are very expensive! It has nice newer 15 inch chrome wheels. The Body looks very nice!!. California truck . so you know its virtually "Rust Free". nbsp;just has tiny surface kind here and there. It looks like its been garage kept or under a carport most of its life. Paint still looks great for its year. I believe it to be all original. looks nice. I get a lot of looks and complements every where I go. I love the "explorer" emblems and special orange stripes. No dents or damage. clean title. Please pay attention to how good it looks in the engine compartment and undercarriage . Interior Looks great for its year. well taken care of. and is very clean!! dash board is good. carpet looks good. no tears. I love the original seat. it looks cool in that stripped color. nbsp;I believe it was a part of the "explorer" package for that year. its in good - fare cond. very clean. no stains. matching quality upholstery vinyl was used on drivers side. It is equipped with factory AC (see picture) but needs AC parts to complete. like compressor. etc. All doors open and close nice. very solid and tight. Locks work. windows roll up and down fine. heater works. all glass is fine. odometer and miles work. lights and blinkers work. Please note that the interior picture of the upper passenger side is weather stripping glue. not rust. LolSo there you have it. a nice classic ford 4x4 that has been well cared for . please see all the extras that's been added to truck. like the lift kit. new tires. all the chrome extras. like the grill. step ups. bumpers. bed lip rails. wheels! bed liner. This truck is in great shape from top to bottom. but is not perfect. there are minor imperfections here and there from normal use of being a 1979. it has been driven . enjoyed. and used as a truck. however while doing so. it has been taken care of and it shows.
