Car description

I purchased this bronco II to fix and sell . nbsp; I got it from a guy who had a terminal medical condition and stopped driving it about a year and a half ago ( he couldn’t use the clutch any longer due to diabetese and leg issues ) . he said that he loved it and hated to see it go . because it was so dependable . nbsp; he said he’d had it serviced regular. and had never had any issues with it . The body was super straight. never been in an accident . no rust what so ever . with minor surface imperfections. The paint was faded and scrached with a few spots where it had chipped off . so I sanded and repainted the whole rig with 3 heavy coats of single stage . hardened/polished acrilic enamel in the original color . (looks original see pic’s). there are a few dings that didn’t show themselves until after I painted it . but they are barley findable as you can see in the pic’s. The front buckets were worn and ripped . but the back seats looked like they had never been set in . I searched out and found a supplier who buys auto manufactures left over stock at the end of each model year and found the exact OEM material used by ford in the bronco II in 1987 ( verifiable ) and had the front seats and headliner redone in it . now the all original interior is like new. The carpet looks great with only one small worn spot in the rubber insert right under the brake pedal and a small cut in the cargo area carpet ( sealed to stop any further damage ) . here's a tiny ding in the driver side door panel ( see Pic’s ) . The dash pads in these things are famos for being cracked and this one was too . I found a real nice used one from a wrecked Eddie Brauer addition . it’s the only piece thats not stock original . but looks like it was born there. just a little lighter tan than the original. I pressure washed the engine compartment and the undercarrage and they cleaned up real nice as you can see in the pic’s . I also replaced the Plugs . Wires . cap and rotor . NOTE - when I started it up . after doing all those things . it developed a small miss at idle that was not there when I first brought it home . nbsp; I took it to a diagnostic shop . nd they said it was a bad injector on #2 cylinder . So I took the 3 injectors from the left bank and had them rebuilt . put it all back together and the small miss is still there . At this point I have a couple hundred hours of detail work into this thing and many other issues pressing . So the miss is still there and on the buyer (sorry . probably a cheep fix ) also it did pass the Calif. emmisions test after the fuel injector fix and has a new smog cert. (see Pic ) that is valid for 90 days . o that says something about how minor the miss is . The guy said that the AC works but it has a leak in the system and runs out of Freon . I removed the old belt to prevent any damage to the compressor . can't say I'm sure it works ( not an AC guy ). There are 2 small dents in the rear bumper where it looks like someone tapped it in a parking lot . I hardly noticed it at first . nbsp; it’s hidden well by the plastic bumper guard ( see pic’s ) . the front end looks as if it has been rebuilt lately as there are what look to be new tie rod ends . bushings and boots . the tires are fair but mismatched brands . the bronco runs and drives great with lots of power and no steering issues . This is a great little rig . if it would pull my race car I would want to keep it and get rid of the gas guzzeler I drive . Here’s your chance to drive something that becomes worth more $ each day not less. I have tried to mention everything I know about this bronco II . it will make someone a real sweet classic . while it’s not perfect it’s definatly a head turner . That said this is sold with no guarentees or warrentees expressed or implied. I can store vehicle up to 30 days if needed but balance payment after deposit is due in full within 10 days of auction end Note -there are approxamatly $375 in back regisrtation fees due in california . if the buyer is a calif. resident these fees will be deducted from the final selling price .
