1931 Ford Roadster Streetrod. Quality built ALL STEEL from NEW parts. I am selling this car for the owner who is a friend and I strongly believe this to be one of the higher quality Brookville brand bodies. If you know exactly how to tell. send me an email and I will be glad to check it out. I hate to use the term "kit" car because the use of that term often conjures up thoughts of fiberglass. thrown together cars of poor design. This car is none of those things. It is well built and well assembled. It is all steel. including the fenders. Frame is obviously a new design and was brand new when the car was assembled as well. Here is what I know about it TO THE BEST OF MY FRIEND'S AND MY OWN KNOWLEDGE:The car has less than 1. 00 miles on it since built. The engine is a small block Ford (not a Chevy). It is a beautifully dressed out engine. I believe it to be a 302. Has a moderate camshaft. two four barrel Edelbrock carbs. Unilite ignition. nbsp;aluminum Edelbrock Performer heads. nbsp;aluminum water pump. wider cogged belt. extra capacity aluminum oil pan. gear drive on the camshaft (a little noisy on purpose). Alumicoat headers with cut outs. full exhaust which exits in front of the rear wheels. Has a chrome scatter shield on the clutch and flywheel. The clutch is hydraulic actuated and it has a 4 speed transmission. Hurst shifter with reverse lock out. Much of the underside of the car is chromed including the rear ladder bars and rearend and the dropped front tube axle. I think the steering box is a Vega design but not sure. It has adjustable coilover shocks in the rear. Has 4 wheel disc brakes. There is a fuel cell in the trunk with an electric fuel pump. The black paint is beautiful! I'd give it 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. Plus it has a few tasteful. not overdone. pinstripe designs. The interior has bucket seats and are either leather covered or very high quality vinyl. The small roll bar on the back is chromed. It has Dolphin brand gauges. NO. there is NO top and NO hood. Though they are readily available from several sources. I believe the chromed rearend to be a 9" and it has a differential mounted emergency brake. I do not think it is a positrac and would guess the gear ratio somewhere between 3. 5 and 4. 11 though we do not know exactly what it is. This is NOT a project car. It is pretty much a get in it and go car that you would be proud to cruise in or take to a car show. I have built several streetrods myself and I seriously doubt you ever could build one of this quality for the low reserve my friend placed on this car. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ASK. ASK.
