NOT SURE HOW MUCH GEORGE BARRIS HAD IN BUILDING ON THIS ONE BUT ITS TOLD HE HAD SOME IDEAS INVOLVED IN IT, IT TRAVELED WITH THE BOOTHILL EXPRESS. I HAVE HAD IT FOR 12 YEARS STORED IN MY WAREHOUSE, ITS SITS BY THE LOVE MACHINE FROM THE LOVE AMERICAN STYLE SITCOM AND THE BATVAN DESIGNED BY BARRIS, IT WAS BUILT AS A NOVELTY VEHICLE AND NEVER MEANT TO BE DRIVEN, !!!! (BUT IT DOES RUN AND DRIVE NOW)!!! HAS A GREAT RUNNING SBC, RARE TUNNEL RAM FROM THE 60s, ALUM 2 SPD POWER GLIDE TRANS, ALL NEW COMPONENT ON MOTOR, NEW RAD, ELEC FAN AND ELEC WATER PUMP THAT ARE MOUNTED UNDERNEATH THE VIHICLE, NEW EXHAUST JUST CHROMED, NEW DRIVE SHAFT ALL NEW BRAKE CABLES, NEW BRAKES, PEDAL, NEW GAS PEDAL, ALL NEW BLACK CARPET THROUGHOUT. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL BIDDERS TO COME AND PERSONALLY INSPECT AND DRIVE (YOU CAN EVEN BRING YOUR OWN MECHANIC). OPINIONS ARE JUST THAT - OPINIONS - WHAT I THINK IS A 10 YOU MIGHT NOT AGREE WITH ME - SO PLEASE COME AND INSPECT - B/C IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION - THE VEHICLE IS YOURS. NOT BEING RUDE, BUT IF YOU ARE A BIDDER THAT IS EXTREMELY PICKY AND CANNOT BE PLEASED THEN PLEASE PASS ON MY VEHICLE. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS UNDER THE PAINT. I DO NOT KNOW THE EXACT MILEAGE AND USAGE ON THE DRIVE LINE. IT IS AN OLD VEHICLE WITH SOME IMPERFECTIONS THAT I MAY HAVE OVERLOOKED, SO PLEASE CALL AND ASK QUESTIONS, OR AGAIN, I ENCOURAGE ALL BIDDERS TO INSPECT BEFORE BUYING. IF YOU DON'T, THE VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DESCRIBE EVERY TINY DETAIL ABOUT THESE OLDER VEHICLES, SO PLEASE EXPECT SOME FLAWS FROM BEING DRIVEN. THIS IS NOT A PERFECT SHOW CAR... SO PLEASE PLEASE DON'T EXPECT ONE. IT'S A USED VEHICLE, NOT A NEW ONE!
