The 400 ford engine was rebuilt by the previous owner at a professional shop, he put 5000 miles on it and I put another 5000 miles on her since owning. Shifts fantastic, will burn rubber if you slam the gas at a light. Fresh battery just installed. Tires are Micky Thompsons 38" with about 70% life remaining. Truck drives pretty darn straight with no death wobble unless you take it up to 70mph and even then it's not bad. NO bumpsteer. Has AC/HEAT, most of the interior has been redone with a new leather bench seat, new flooring, new paintjob and more. Windows are DARK tented from being down in FL.. By the way this is a southern US truck meaning it's not seen the harsh salt roads of the north. Newish CD player. Lights on roof work, has hitch on back. New headlights since pictures were taken that are very bright. Has a train horn that is LOUD and would make a trucker blush. Currently have an NC antique tag and in most states you can get this registered as an antique vehicle meaning you'll pay about $50 a year in taxes. **PLEASE NOTE** The pictures I used are from the previous owner in FL(1 1/2 years ago), since then the headlights have been replaced, the lights on top have been replaced and the dent on the side has been professional removed and repainted to match. NO leaks and I've driven her from Asheville to Raleigh(5 hours each way) with NO problems. Other than the starter(Which I've replaced twice) she's been a very reliable truck.

This truck is a great weekend/parade truck. If you want a daily driver/work truck you need to buy a used 90s ford and not this fine lady who deserves better and has not been built for that. If you're not used to carburetor(anything pre 80s) vehicles, it takes a couple minutes to warm up and you don't want to turn it on and off repeatedly over a short(20 minutes) of time. It's a 70s truck thats been kept in great shape, do not expect the comfort of a 2017 ford f150(although I've yet to ever feel a more comfortable seat!!) Overall she's in very good condition or if I had to rate her a 7 out of 10. This truck will get you waves, finger salutes, staring and jealousy wherever you go. No weird noises/knocks and she sounds GREAT! DOES COME WITH THE ORIGINAL CHROME XLT TRIM! I think it looks better plain blue but will include the hard to find trim with the truck for the next owner to decide.
So why on earth am I selling her? Because I have way too many toys, I've driven this truck maybe twice a month over the past year and I just don't think she deserves to sit here unused.(Note I do start her up once a week to get the fluids going/prevent settling.) Over $30,000 has been put into this truck and my asking price is about 1/3rd of whats been put into her over the past 5 years.
The bad.Paint has scratches, dings here and there, a couple small rust spots on the body.(NO rust on underside/frame other than typical surface rust.) Parking brake and speedometer do not work.(I never needed either but it's a cheap replacement if you do.) AC needs to be recharged. Interior roof is missing paint/has some dings. Overall shes in very good shape for the age.
CLEAN TITLE IN HAND - STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA - CASH PREFERREDYES! I AM OPEN TO FAIR OFFERS! What does fair mean? It means I'm not going to take $5000 off the price.. I do not NEED to sell this but I'm not looking to make a profit either. I'd like what USAA values her at which is $13,000. $100 non refundable deposit is due at checkout. If you back out for any other reason than the item IN PERSON is not as described I keep the deposit, this is to insure I'm dealing with a real buyer as I don't have time for bs.. sorry. The balance is due within 7 days. I will not let truck/title leave my sight until cash is in hand. Truck is sold with absolutely no warranty/guarantee. You are welcome to have a local mechanic to me check it over. I will not let ANYONE under the age of 25 test drive this truck, it's a very big truck and takes a day or two of driving to get used to.
