Selling my '56 T-Bird, which I've owned & driven since 2004(from what I can tell I'm the 3rd owner). The car was off the road in storage for many years, & is in good solid unrestored cond.: looks very presentable; it has a lot of brushwork done on misc. scratches & blems; to be really nice it needs paint & misc. bodywork such as around rear wheel openings, dings, ect. Chrome is orig. & looks nice, underbody looks nice & solid, seat cover is ok for driver but can use redo, dash is nice, original weather gaskets are tattered; hard top is nice with orig. paint, soft top is khaki color & very nice, with little use.The 312 motor & auto trans. work great- very dependable, would drive anywhere. Radiator has 3" seam seepage at very top but no problem if not overfilled. Both the clock & T&C radio work, the vacuum wipers go halfway up(unit needs cleaned) The title is clean; just noticed after all these years it says Odometer Discrepancy- I believe the elderly widow that handled the estate transaction made a mistake when she transferred title: the cond. of the car would suggest that the mileage of 55258 is correct, but don't know how to go back to verify it.Very fun car to drive just the way it is- many car enthusiasts love how cool-original it looks, just don't see them like this anymore! Anyone interested is encouraged to come look it over and drive it before bidding. Any other questions feel free to ask.
