1931 Ford DeLuxe Roadster with dealer invoice, WWII gas ration paperwork, Hot Rod speed parts invoice from 1951, etc. Car has always been loved and driven. By loved I mean taken care of. Very low mileage car with one repaint from the early 50s. Two years ago the 4th owner took this car apart for an even better version of this period correct hot rod, retaining the traditional flavor and natural patina of the body and other parts. In it's present state it has all the original Henry Ford body and interior, windshield, etc. The underside of the body has been cleaned and painted. The seats are original upholstery except the seat bottom was recovered when the seat was re-foamed. The factory cover was saved as well as door panels. Highlights of the chassis are as follows:
- Factory 1931 frame with 1932 K member installed for easy and neat installation of "B" engine, etc.
- 1932 Front wishbone
- 1932 pedals
- 1932 "B" engine and transmission
- Vintage dropped front axle with 1951 Ansen hydraulic brake kits from the original build
- F1 steering box conversion to stock frame holes
- Quick change rear center section with Model A bells and 40 hydraulic brakes
- Orig. shocks front, tube style rear
- Engine has a cam, Mallory ignition, Vulcan intake, Stromberg carburetor, Winfield head
- 12 volt electrical, old school wires, chrome 2 blade fan
- 18 inch wire wheels and tires
