Sadly I'm selling a car I've spent the better part of 40 years trying to buy. I realize I'm now to old to do this car justice. I'm hoping the buyer will preserve this historically significant vehicle.
This is a 1924 Ford Fad T roadster. It was built over a two year period, 1965-66. It spent about 7 years on the ISCA show circuit originally in the north and then the southern. The car is in as built condition with the exception of the ignition. It has a Cragar 471 blown small block 327 Chevy. It has 8 indiviual exhaust pipes. M22 polished aluminum 4-speed with original Hurst shifter. Chrome 55-57 Chevy rearend with Lincoln brakes. It has an EELCO aluminum oil pan. The body and paint are in excellent condition along with the gold leaf highlights. This is original paint car. The windshield is 1919 Dodge. There is a drop down hinged tailgate on the bed.The interior is soft and pliable with no rips, tears, or noticeable wear. The floor carpet should be replaced. The chrome is beginning to show its age with some pitting and peeling. The original genuine M&H Racemaster Dragster tires are on the rear with Continentals on the front. The wheels are real American Racing magnesium. The fuel tank is an original 7 gal Moon with Moon cap. The front axle is 1937 Willys.
This was a high end build in its day. This car runs, drives and stops. I will send videos of car being yard driven to any emails supplied. You will notice it was last tagged in 1970 with a Feb 71 expiration. This car sat for over 40 years in the old service station in the background of some of the pictures. This is an authentic 1960's Fad T in the Kookie, Tweedy Pie Fad T cars of the period. I have the 1970 title signed by the owner.
This is a great historical piece deserving to be preserved. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt. It has a new battery and starter. New solid state ignition along with high energy coil and wires. You will not be disappointed. I had to put in mileage, no idea real number. It has been minimal at best.
Please ask all questions before bidding or buying. If you have less than 10 feedback or ANY negative feedback DO NOT bid I will only cancel it. No Exception. It's not fair to me or other buyers. Non-refundable $1000 deposit within 48 hours, balance in 7 days, no exception. Shipping responsibility of buyer. I will help on this end to get it safely loaded. I'm more than willing to talk. Leave your number and best time to call. Thanks.
