Car description |
---|
This beautiful example of craftsmanship is credited to the owner for having the wherewithal to hire nothing but the best car builder and painter we know of (besides the work Jims Classic Garage does!!). That's alright with us, since we didn't know the owner at the time. Besides, even though we have a great painter onboard here, the guy who painted this is a hair better! For anyone in the Pacific NW, they would want Keith Russel of Seabeck, Wa. to paint their custom car. Look at the paint up close, and you will notice the glass look thru and thru.
When my client caught wind of the car being built, he quickly decided to buy it and change the color they started with on the undercarriage. The color now sits on three surfaces. The frame, the dash, steering wheel and column, plus the firewall. The color is "Cloud Mist by Ford''. Everything else is a PPG Single stage Triple black. (Like a mirror)
We see a lot of cars come thru the shop and talk condition and value everyday. A number 1 condition car is so difficult to find. The difference between the Number 1 and number 2 condition car is so minute, that the details that get that top status is as insignificant as a minor scratch, a missing bolt, wrong parts used, etc. ironically, a pro golfer I know could be on the regular PGA Tour, if it weren't for the half a stroke he lacks in scoring. Are you kidding me!! That score keeps him working at Pete's Golf instead of running crazy with Tiger Woods! In closing, I'm going to give this car an honest "Hard #2" for overall condition.
Please review the build sheet below. You will find everything you need to determine your interest.
This car comes with the "Jim's Personal Guarantee'' stamp of approval. Simply put, I believe this car is truly as nice as we have indicated and will back it up financially. The car is being sold for $52,500 and is worth at least that much. For those of you that have to travel to get here, you need not worry about being disappointed in the car. If you fly/drive here and spend the night, then come in just to be disappointed with the car because we overstated its condition, and walk away without buying the car, I will pay for your airfare/car fare, hotel, meals, and transportation for the one night for both you and your significant other. Since were putting ourselves out there for the unscrupulous, we hope that the potential buyer has as much respect for the car as with the process. In other words, serious people only please!
