Here we have a 1965 Ford F100 Custom Cab short bed fleet side with the 352 V8 and the 4 speed manual transmission. which is arguably the most desired combination in these trucks. The color is Caribbean Turquoise. one of my personal favorites from that era. This truck was owned for most all of its life by the same family in Redding. CA and it looks like it has never left the west coast. It is rust free and still has the original drivetrain. interior and. from everything I can tell. is 90%+ original paint in great condition. I have the clear title in hand. Exterior: There are small dings and scratches here and there. but considering the truck is 50 years old. it’s in incredible original condition. The driver’s side tail-light section is the only area I could tell which has been repainted at some point. There is no indication of over-spray from anywhere I can see and the edges of all doors. hood. etc. are smooth to the touch and all surfaces of the paint match. which is why I believe it to be original to the truck. Even the bed of the truck isn't too scratched up! All of the interior painted pieces (dash. door panels. etc) are shiny and look near-new. All of the glass is there and in good condition. no cracks or anything to note. This truck was definitely stored in a garage or barn of some sort. it truly is impressive. There is a scrape on the passenger front fender (pictured) which is by far the biggest blemish on the whole truck. Any car/truck can be restored to perfection with enough money. but it’s only original once. Interior: As mentioned above. the interior painted bits are all shiny and have very minimal scratching or wear. The door trim (white pieces) appear to also be original and are in very good condition. but have a few small cracks around the edges which is to be expected as they become more brittle with age. The seat back appears to be original (has the ford emblem in the middle) and is in perfect condition. the seat bottom was reupholstered at some point with a coarse material which has split on the passenger top side (approximately 6” long). The headliner is in excellent condition. AM radio works and lights up (though the antenna is broken). all buttons. gauges. speedo. lights work as well. The floor has no rust and the original material is intact and in very good condition. The door handles/window winders work perfectly and the doors open/shut very tight and without issue. It truly is a time capsule! Yes. that is a gun rack in the back window. Yee-haw! Drivetrain: The truck runs very smooth and the transmission shifts perfectly! As the odometer only goes to 99k miles. there is no way to validate the mileage. so right now it shows only 2. 14 miles. I believe the truck truly has 102k miles due to oil change stickers on the door that indicates it only being driven 5k miles from the mid 80’s until 2004. but I cannot guarantee anything. Condition would also allude to the mileage being 102k. It has a new battery that was just put in and the truck fires right up every time.
