Car description

1966 Ford Econoline Heavy Duty Telephone Company Display Van. 240 inline six. 9 inch rear. 3 on-the-tree. Manual steering & brakes. Odometer says 53,008 - but it surely has been turned over at least once.
Registered/Titled/Wisconsin. Blue card says purchase date May 5, 1966. Sold to Mountain States Telephone, Conrad, Montana.
Lots of bumps and bruises. Original paint shows where the round Bell logo was, as well as where the telephone number was painted on the side of the van. Paneled on drivers side, windows on passenger side. Original cardboard visors. Passenger jump seat. Original mohair trimmed seats. Rust holes on driver's side rocker panels where weep holes were plugged with dirt. Undercarriage is surprisingly clean/no rust thru. Frame is solid.
Engine runs strong. No knocks or funny noises. Engine is caked with 50 years of grease and crud, but it's all there right down to the original air cleaner on the 1BBL carb.
Everything else is pretty much shot. Window rubber is shrunk/hard. Brake lines gone. Tires rotted. Fuel line gone (van runs from a gas can next to engine). Gas tank is intact and solid.

Added after original listing - Winshield cracked. Replacement window comes with the van. I'll wrap it well for transit.
