Selling from an Elderly friend's Estate, a 1951 Ford Street Rod Coupe project car, her late husband purchased new in 51 and decided to do modification and restoration some time in the late 60s or early 70s, like so many other projects he had going he never quite got this one completed. When I first was asked to help sell off vehicles there were 11 cars and pick-ups in 2 large garages, this was one of his babies and it has the potential to be a real " Blast From The Past James Dean type of 50s Cruiser". This car has spent most of it's life in a large garage exempt from outside weather, there is NO RUST !!!!!, NO ROTTED AREAS !!!! and it has a very solid frame and floor pans, you will be very hard pressed to find any 66 year old vehicle in this condition.The Roof has been chopped and redesigned as are the Front End, Grille, Hood, Rear End, Tail lights, Doors and Rear Roof Panels and Windows. Car has a newer style steering column, bucket seats and rear seat. The Original Flat Head V8 Motor is entact with Evans Brand Heads and Dual Carbs Manifold, also looks to be upgraded to a 12 volt system. This will be a great winter project for the right person interested in completing a very unique vehicle and one to be proud of, this car has the potential to be a Show Quality Vehicle or a great cruiser.
