With names like Comet Meteor Falcon Thunderbird the name "Galaxie" was a perfect fit for the full size car. 1964 was the last model year of the 2nd generation but it did feature several alterations including the more sculpted "slant roof" design that made the car more aerodynamic for NASCAR. This Galaxie was sold new at... Roger S Ford in San Dimas California. The car comes with the orignal window sticker owner's manual sales agreement and build sheet! The car is powered by its Thunderbird 390 4v v8 paired to an automatic transmission. The carburetor has been upgraded to a Edlebrock. According to the owner the brakes are new along with a new booster as well. The tires and exhaust are new as well. The Galaxie has power brakes with disc brakes in the front power steering and air conditioning that works. The Pagoda Green paint shows very well.
