History: I bought the car in 2004. The guy I bought it from, bought it from the original owner, who bought it new in '93 as an automatic with the factory chrome pony wheels. Apparently, she drove it a "mile to work and a mile home" for most of its early life. The second owner--the guy I bought it from--installed a cam, headers, exhaust, shift kit (for the automatic), sound system in the trunk (which I took out) and lowered the car by an inch. I drove the car for two years with few issues, before swapping the automatic transmission out with a new T5. I then deployed with the Army and the car sat in storage for a year. In '08, I had the engine pulled, cleaned and resealed. I also had the A/C converted to R134 (which still blows nice and cold to this day). I installed a new performance radiator and cooling fan, cold-air intake, and power steering rack. I drove the car for about a year and deployed to Iraq again. The car sat in storage for another year. After returning, I got a truck and mostly drove the Mustang on the weekends for about a year. In 2011, I sold the truck and made the Mustang my daily driver. I had the car painted in 2012, only to have someone hit the front end in a parking lot (while parked) a week later. There was minimal damage and the car was repaired quickly. Recently, I had the exhaust changed back to the factory pipes. I have many records that will come with the car.
Current Issues:Worn tires, the passenger side power lock and rear quarter window need repair, the speaker panel in the back driver's side needs repair (cover included), and the CD player no longer ejects or plays. However, the radio, tape deck, and auxiliary cable all work fine. The driver's seat has also begun to rip, but I found a nice cover that has prevented more damage and provides more cushion.
