Car description |
---|
1988 ford thunderbird Sport P62 with a 5.0 v8. This vehicle has been in my family since about 2003. Im selling this for my grandfather. it is in his name but he signed the title and gave it over to me to get rid of. My cousin abandoned it near where I live and I offered to get rid of it for him so that he didn't have to haul it back to eastern washington.
this car has red leather seats, 5.0 engine, cruise, tilt power windows, power sunroof, power seats (drivers only I believe) cruise, AC, automatic overdrive transmission, and a power sunroof.
the bad: runs but not well, cousin drove it around with a blown head gasket for a long time. will go on a trailer but barely. drivers window regulator disconnected and widow is being held up by duct tape, sun roof doesn't work ( hasn't since we acquired it) but doesn't leak, qw you can see in the pictures there is some crudely repaired body damage on the rear quarter panel.
this would be a great parts or project. If I didn't have so many projects I would drop a junkyard 5.0 in it and drive it for nostalgic purposes. I loved this car in high school. it got 24 MPG if you treated it right (no joke).
sold as is buyer pick up or arranges pick up
