Up for sale is one beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang convertible with a 200ci inline 6 and a 3 speed manual transmission. Clean title in hand. This Mustang is super straight and 100% rust free. This is a beautiful car with NO rust NO blisters and NO issues. This is a metal car and NOT a bondo bucket. This Mustang is a manual steering, manual drum brakes with a manual top, just like the good ole days. Every thing works as it should (blinkers, horn, emergency brake and so on). Paint is in excellent shape, very vibrant and deep, laid nice and flat with no orange peel. There is some small paint chips here and there that have been touched up, nothing major or anything that takes away from the car. The body is very straight and the gaps are very nice. NO scratches and NO dings. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the car. The underneath is as clean as the body. Rock solid and there is no hack patch jobs or rust issues. The chrome and stainless is all in excellent shape. The engine bay is very sanitary and presents very well. The trunk is also very clean. The glass is all very nice, no scratches or hazing. This car is an absolute blast to drive, cruises down the road so beautifully. The motor was completely rebuilt a number of years ago but has less than 10,000 miles since. The engine is super healthy, fires right up, idles perfect, runs nice and cool with great oil pressure. No smoke, no ticks, no knocks or weird noises. It just received a fresh tune-up and fresh fluids. The transmission shifts beautifully and just got a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and the flywheel was machined. This car is an absolute delight to drive!. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues, no rips and so on. Beautiful upholstery and carpet. No rips and no cracks. There is a little wear on the top of the rear door panels but nothing major. I would call the interior a 9 out of a 10. The top is in excellent shape with no rips, the convertible window is in good shape with no hazing. The convertible boot is also in excellent shape. The car has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This car runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Great cruise night car or for winning trophies at your local car shows (a trophy is included with the car where it won at a local show). Super tight car, goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy's and it will brake straight without pulling side to side (in fact all the brakes have just been gone through). No vibrations just a crazy fun, beach cruising and rag top Mustang. Tires are only a couple years old with plenty of life left. Finding a convertible Mustang in this condition is hard to find at this price, don't miss out on this gorgeous iconic muscle car classic! 207-400-5326
