29 Ford 2 Dr Sedan
I purchased this as a project, it was not complete and was disassembled. Only reason I am selling is because I can not get the engine to run cool. I have tried everything under the sun and it still runs hot. It rides and drives good, front end has been aligned. The engine temp just slowly climbs. I have driven it several miles at a time, but the temp just keeps climbing. I guess that's a flathead for ya. I am tired of fooling with it and just need to recoup some of my money to put in other projects. It would be fairly easy to replace the flathead with a small block Ford. Like I said....I,m burnt out on it. It has been sitting in my garage for a couple years so it is time for it to go to a new home. Has fresh gas and battery. It will start and run so you can load it on your trailer. New parts were used to build. I will list them and other info below below.
Solid 29 Model A body Chopped 3 inches
Original frame fully boxed and Z'ed 3 inches in the rear.
Super solid Sub Floor
Frame was narrowed and Z'ed to prevent cutting the sub-floor
New Fiberglass Front Fenders
Original Rear Fenders
New Splash Aprons and Running Boards
New Copper Radiator for Flathead V8 with Electric Fan
Stainless Dropped Headlight Bar with New Headlights
Original Tank Coated and in use with Electric Fuel Pump
8BA Flathead V8
New Fuse Box and Wiring kit (Not completed) No Lights have been Wired
Mallory Breaker-less Ignition
3 Deuce Intake (only running the center carb)
Rebuilt C4 Automatic with adapter plate for 8BA
New Mufflers with Heat Shield dumped in front of rear Axle
New Alternator (runs off driveshaft)
New Custom Driveshaft (Balanced)
New non Tilt Limeworks Steering Column
New Rack and Pinion Steering
New Front and Rear Power Disc Brakes
New 4 Link Front Suspension with Dropped Tube Axle
New Spindles and Rotors
New Calipers, Hoses and Brake Lines
New 4 Link Rear Suspension with New Coil Over Shocks and Panhard Bar
Ford Explorer Rear Axle with New Calipers and Rotors (3:00 Posi)
New Lokar Shifter
New Bomber Style Seats
Fiberglass Rear Splash with License Plate Cut Out
New Wood in the Body
Faux Patina Paint with Flat Clear
Correct Safety Glass in windshield
I have most of the Garnish Moldings that are not installed. I have the original hood and it is in good shape. No other glass, it is flat glass and cheap. I have new Cloth to cover the roof of the Car. My intention was to install it with snaps so it could be removed easily. No Oil Leaks, Has a Transmission leak after sitting in Garage for a couple years. The only body filler in the car is a small amount where the top was chopped and a small amount on the roof to fill pitting. I'm sure I probably missed something, so feel free to give me a call if you are interested. 870 941 2265. It is for sale locally also. I have $12,000 invested in this car......that does not include any labor cost. I will not disclose the Reserve price, but it is much less than that. Bid to own and please be prepared to follow thru with the transaction. I need it gone. Thanks for viewing the Auction.
