To answer a few questions: 289 V8, automatic. Convertible top is original as well as everything in the interior including seats, carpet, etc. All 5 original tires that come with the car are Firestone and they hold air even being 50 years old.
The items that have been replaced that I know of are:1. Shocks replaced with NOS correct ford shocks. I have the originals.2. Brake hoses replaced with NOS ford hoses.3. Intermediate exhaust pipe and muffler replaced with NOS ford parts4. Brake cylinders replaced with NOS ford parts5. Water pump replaced at some point as noted by the discoloration
Everything else is original.

To answer questions about any rust or damage. I have added 2 pictures that show the only damage I could find. RH lower left quarter panel has a small ding and there are some very small bubbles in front of the LH rear wheel. The small quarter panel dent could possibly be PDR to fix. Never really thought about fixing these small areas because I didn't want to disturb the original paint. I will try to post pictures of the undercarriage. It was undercoated at the original dealer as was fairly typical of upper midwest cars. It can be removed if you want...just takes some time. No rust on the floors, frame rails, etc....its very nice and original. Car was last titled/registered in 1975.
As far as the 85-90% original paint statement. That is being conservative. I honestly see no areas of repaint on the car but Im not a paint expert. The entire car still shows the original orange peel which is very cool.
