Car description

A truck this interesting and so complete is rarely this affordable. After all, we all love the cool patina'd shop truck look. But beneath a well-crafted, well-weather appearance, this 1963 Ford F-100 hides features like a fuel-injected V8 heart, upgraded suspension, and A/C interior.
Ford's brief flirtation with a seamless unibody option on the F-series already makes a pickup like this sought after and hard to find. The unibody just does a great job of featuring the full-length style lines that were stamped directly in the sheetmetal. Ford also added some dramatic flares around the wheel arches, making this one of the best-looking trucks of the early '60s. But we know that's not what first grabbed your attention. Instead, it's that confident kind of cool that only patina can bring that's what first caught your eye. And this weathered package is sealed in for the long term thanks to having any dents and holes welded smooth and the whole truck clearcoated for preservation. So, that cool speed shop logo is with you for the long haul. And while this has a shop truck attitude, the side pipes, lowered suspension, and cool Ford 18-inch alloys with red calipers peeking out are a nice hint at the investments beneath the patina'd skin.
Inside, the upgrades become more apparent. Sure, you get great rat rod touches like the Texaco sign welded to the roof and plenty of other old tin signs used to create panels (we especially love the pin-up one for the center console.) But there are also cool premium additions, like the bench seat that looks like it's out of a T-bird. Plus, you've got some terrific modern upgrades like cold air conditioning and a Pioneer stereo head unit that includes a navigation system, iPod hookup, and a backup camera. Your left hand will love the custom two-spoke steering wheel mounted on the polished tilt column, and your right one rests easily on the Lokar shifter. Plus, looking at the gauge panel, you definitely know there's something much more modern under the hood.
When you open the engine bay, it immediately reveals the unmistakable secret of fuel-injected power. You're looking at 4.6-liter V8 taken from a Crown Vic Police Interceptor so how cool is it to have a cop motor in an outlaw pickup! But Ford people also instantly realize that this modular V8 was built to be easily upgradeable. So while you already have some serious power and a great rumble out of the dual exhaust, the potential is nearly unlimited even when you're on a budget. Also, as you look at the undercarriage photos, you're going to spot a far more modern suspension than any '60s truck. Another benefit of the unibody was that the single-piece body helps make the Crown Vic's suspension adapt easier under there, too. This custom build features power steering, performance tires, sway bars front & rear, and four-wheel disc brakes. There's even a four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. So the truck that looks fresh from a barn is really one of the most comfortable vehicles to drive near or far.
This is a cool custom patina truck that people will think you spent five times more than the asking price. That's why you know you need to hurry to grab this deal. Call today!!!
