Car description |
---|
1927 Ford Model T 4-door sedan. Vehicle runs/drives/stops excellent - it is a mechanically perfect car and is driven on the road. Car belongs to a friend of mine in Philadelphia PA. I'll let him describe it:
Model T Radio w/ antenna under driver's running board
Ruckstell rear axle
Fog lights and headlights bright and in good repair
6 volt alternator charges well
Water pump works well
Starts right up
New ignition wires, coils, plugs etc
New battery
New radiator
Steering tight
Accessory Speedometer
Engine has low hours after rebuild
A California car with no rust; was restored by a dentist in S California who then died, widow gave it to shop that had done restoration, was shipped to Oregon where a mechanic with a large family stored it at my brother's; couldn't make rent finally forfeited it and my brother sold it to me. He hauled it on an open trailer. Tarp slapping produced rough places on rear of cab. Some exfoliation of paint front of passenger running board.
Have a number of pieces in a Model T tool box which the mechanic said were "Model T Jewelry" i.e. Winged radiator cap, luggage carrier for holding suitcase on running board etc. Goes with car.
