This is a clean T-bird that has only had 2 owners since new, the last owner had the car since the late 70's and was a long time Ford mechanic.

This body is rust free, no rust issues and wearing most of it's original paint. The body is very straight and the only damage was a tree branch that fell on the drivers fender and hood in the 80's causing a repaint on those panels. The rest of the car shows signs of the clear coat pealing but is as straight as new. The vinyl top is showing it's age and has some typical bust blistering showing but shouldn't require extensive repairs since the top is still intact. The chrome, stainless and glass are all in good shape.

The interior is original, showing wear on the drivers seat. The door panels, package tray and headliner are all good. The carpet is original and looks decent but could use a shampoo. The drivers seat shows wear but I have the missing seat button. The rear seat is cracked from sun exposure but not too bad. The dash pad has a cover, it isn't cracked but does have some warpage along the front edge. The original jack and hardware as well as a good spare are in the trunk. Everything works on the inside, the A/C, radio and cigarette lighter, etc.. I did clean out all the misc stuff since taking the pictures.

The engine and transmission are the originals, the transmission was rebuilt less than 1K miles ago. It looks like it might need valve cover gaskets again but nothing serious. Everything else was serviced as it needed, this was their daily car for the last 20 years. The tires look near new but were replaced about 3 years ago according to long time friend and neighbor I spoke to, he was the one that told me about the transmission because he picked the owner up and dropped him off at the rebuilder. All the gauges work and I drove the car 20 miles to my shop. The only thing it could use is a carburetor rebuild because it loads up a little at idle.

I went through the garage at the house and found a new set of rear shocks, an extra jack and a replacement seat belt latch he had purchased for the car that are included. I also have a car cover that was purchased from the wife after her husband passed that's included. It does have an older security system with remote also.

I might have missed a few things but I try to be thorough. This is a one of the early 70's cars that still had some nice styling, Like a Lincoln as for the luxury but not as expensive.
There is a Buy-It-Now with Best Offer so shoot an offer. The owners son in law and I have discussed what is believed to be a fair price based on the current market.

I welcome inspections, the car is at my shop in Fresno, CA and can be viewed by appointment. The winning bidder will receive clear CA title for the car, the registration is currently on a CA non operative status. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course you can fly in a drive it home with cash in hand after we visit the DMV for a temporary pass, I'm 10 minutes from the airport.
