Car description |
---|
I am the 3rd owner of this 1973 ford Mustang Convertible and have put over 47,000 miles on her. I purchased her from a man up in Cleveland that had purchased her from the original owner during an estate sale in Cleveland, OH 12/1999. I am selling her because I am moving back to CO and Have a new F150 SuperCab FX4 that will handle the snow I will be dealing with.
The Mustang was fully undercoated by the dealership when first purchased by Ziebart in Cleveland, OH. She is as rust free as you can find for an original/unrestored 44 year old mustang. She had a new convertible top and a dent in the front passenger quarter panel when I bought her. I had the quarter panel replaced with a new OEM and undercoated when I had her repainted in 2003. That paint job was performed on the entire car and unfortunately has orange pealed.
OK, I have done a lot of basic mechanical repairs and couple of improvements to her. The improvements are:
Installing a Custom Autosound Mustang Radio with stereo speakers front and rear. It looks like a push button like the original am/RCA I have saved with the speaker. But it is an am/fm with lots of ability along with an iPod connection. I also installed an Classic Auto Air system. It has a duel heat exchanger that provides AC to the defroster. That way you do not need to sweat with the heat at full to see out of the car in high humidity. I upgraded all of the cooling system but have kept all of the original parts. These are now in her trunk.
She runs great and is sound. Lots more details are available and who ever wins her. I will also have her spare parts and most of the documentation of all I have done for her over my 17 years with her.
Questions are welcome, additional information available and thanks in advance. Keep A Smile
