Car description

A great preserved presentation mixed with subtle upgrades makes this 1950 Ford two-door sedan instantly attractive. So when you can get original-style flathead V8 power for such a nice price, it's worth paying attention.
Everyone loves the sleek look of Ford's first post-war design. It was fairly groundbreaking when it first appeared, which is why it remains an icon today. So if you're a fan of this history, then this two-door sedan's appearance will be particularly rewarding. The black paint is likely the factory-correct color and it's still old-school lacquer so you'll have plenty of people wondering (us included) if it's original. But the brightwork has definitely been given a sold investment in restoration. Everything, from the bullet-nose grille, to the trunk hinges, to the full-length trim has a nice shining presentation. And of course, those wraparound chrome bumpers are mirror-like. In total, the lacquer mixed with brighter details makes this one look like how it would be back in the '50s. It's a time machine-like presentation, right down to the factory wheel covers with whitewalls.
Inside, everything is quite correct, and it looks like there have been investments to keep it that way. For example, the cloth seating has the right pattern for a '50s machine, but you can instantly tell by the condition and how it feels when you sit down that this is a far fresher application. The Custom line's correct two-spoke steering wheel, with bright trim, is pure 1950s space-race cool. In fact, the whole dash stays true to the original, including gauges like the speedometer and clock. You even still have the AM radio on display to complete the correct-looking dash.
The period-correct presentation continues under the hood, where the 239 cubic-inch flathead V8 is showcased in glowing bronze. The engine bay is nicely detailed with the correct oil-bath air cleaner, and the radiator hoses are so crisp, they look like they are diving into the motor. But more than just looking good, the flathead is a great engine for enjoying classic motoring. A glasspack on the exhaust gives you a little extra rumble, and the three-speed manual transmission lets you control that soundtrack while also giving it a powerful feeling around town if you so desire.
Few cars can present period-correct as well as this one. And since you already know how exceptional the price is, you also know this is a deal that will be leaving us quickly. Don't miss out, call today!
