Car description |
---|
This is a 1965 Mustang true GT Fastback A Code. The car has a 347 engine with a 5 speed Tremec, 3.7 rear end and 4 wheel disc brakes. The engine is putting out around 410 horsepower and you can break the wheels loose in the first 3 gears. Total Control coil over suspension in the front. Hydraulic clutch is very smooth and easy to depress.
I bought the car about a year ago and had a lot of work done to it. The odometer currently reads 1,975 miles. Everything listed below was installed brand new when I bought the car and now has 1,500 miles on it:
Moroso 20502 Oil Pan + pump and pickupWiper motorAmerican Racing 15X7 Torq thrust D wheelsEagle GT TiresCentrik Ceramic brake padsBreak Calipers up frontDrilled brake rotors up frontReplaced starterSet of Spark Plugs
The following was installed 700 miles ago:Speedometer cableHeader gasketsAlternatorVoltage regulatorBattery
All of the work that has been done on this car while I have owned it has been done by Mustang Country (who specialize in pre 1973 mustangs) in Paramount CA and Lyman's Automotive in Hollywood. I have all the receipts from the day I purchased the car.
The car is also outfitted with a Ravelco security system that prevents the car from being hot wired or driven without the inserted magnetic key. The Flowmaster exhaust tips are clamp on and can be easily removed
To my knowledge, there is one very small leak on this car coming from the differential. The paint looks great though in 3 spots it has bubbled a bit but is not chipping off. There is one scratch on the front of the hood and one dent in the driver's side door that could be popped out.
I drove this car 3-5 days a week and it has never not started on me nor has it ever died on me.
I have spare and original parts for the car as well as shelby tail lights. I also have a harness bar kit which I will include if desired.
