Description
1 of 652 Canyon Red/red interior convertible 5.0 GT convertible made in "84 a true survivor.Exterior: Paint, trim and top original. Garage kept. This is a used car with dings and dents. Really runs great and has very nice growl due to side exhaust and lope when at idle.
Engine: 302 original block: flat tappet B-303 cam, bored .020 over. 2007 block rebuilt with new crank, bearings and rings. New FE cast GT-40 heads with 3 angle valve job. 1.72:1 roller rockers. GT-40 tubular headers. Dual exhaust. Spin Tech mufflers and side exhaust. Nice sounds! Dual plane Edelbrock intake with Holley 650cfm vacuum secondary carburetor.
Drive train: World Class T-5 with HD clutch and pressure plate. All new in 2005. Balanced steel drive shaft with new universal joints. 8.8" posi-traction rear axle with 3.73-1 rear gear. Dugan Racing rear suspension with Koni shocks and Koni quad shocks. Chrome 5 spoke aluminum wheels (4 lug). Large/new Nitto Drag slicks out back.
Working Cruse Control, Blaupunkt radio with CD player. Power windows/locks, trunk release and top.
Driving lights, AC and remote fuel door release do not work.
