1968 Fairlane 500. Very nice driving car. Originally a 390 car. I replaced the drivetrain a couple of years ago when I bought the car out of a long slumber. Car had been sitting since 1981. Original 390 was stuck. Car now has a 70' 302 with 68' J-code intake. C-4 is out of a 69' Fairlane and works great. 8" rearend out of another 69' Torino. Car was repainted the original color Gulfstream Aqua. The interior was redone in black vinyl. New headliner. This car came with power steering, power disc brakes, rear window defrost, air-conditioning, remote drivers mirror, am radio. PS and disc brakes all new including the lines. All new brake lines from front to back. New upper and lower control arms. Air-cond. not hooked up as I was thinking about putting another 390 back into it. Bumpers have been re-chromed. Tail light bezels re-chromed. All exterior trim with red stripe is nos. New dual exhaust, new shocks, new tires on 15" rims with original "poverty caps". All work done while I owned it. Only selling as I have another project I want to work on. I have another 390/C-6 available to the winning bidder if wanted? That motor has 68,000 miles on it and came out of a 68' Mercury. S-code 390. Price will be discussed to winning bidder. This car can be driven home. Fly in and I'll pick you up. If you want it shipped, you arrange the carrier. This is a really nice car that has been driven to many shows the last couple of years. I'd drive it anywhere.
