Description
You are bidding on a 1967 Ford Ranchero XL. This is a very rare 390-4V, automatic, bucket seat car. I have owned the vehicle for several years and always wanted to restore it back to its original Vintage burgundy with parchment interior. Absolutely beautiful color combination. It is an original black plate California car. It is rust free and the original vintage burgundy paint can still be seen on the undercarriage. This car waspainted several years ago, but needs a proper restoration. It was painted in what appears to be indian fire with black interior. This is a very rare combination. I believe there were only approx. 320 of the 390-4V (Z code) Ranchero XL'sbuilt in 1967. The car is a $35,000 car when fully restored. I have the reserve set at a very low price. Let me know if you have any questions.Good luck bidding. On Oct-10-17 at 14:11:28 PDT, seller added the following information:
Some people have asked how the drivetrain is. The motor will probably need a rebuild if you do a full restoration on the car. It runs and doesn't burn any oil, but it lacks power. I assume the mileage is original on the motor and trans. It doesn't burn any oil, so possibly a valve job and new tune up would resolve the lack of power. The car has been sitting in my heated garage for 7 years while I decided what level of restoration I wanted to do to the car. With it's rarity, it really deserves to be taken back to it's original color combination. The beauty of the car is it's rust free nature. You won't find one this clean anywhere else. I have several other projects. That is the only reason I'm selling the car.
