The final year for the old-style Ford was 1948 with an all-new model launched partway through the year. The wood-sided Sportsman convertible supplied by the Ford Iron Mountain Plant ended the year with just 28 built and the all-wood bodies on the woody station wagons were replaced with steel for the 1949 season. The old car-based trucks were replaced by the F-Series this year. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1948 Ford Deluxe 2 Door for consideration. This '48 Ford is coming to you i...n a very clean light blue exterior that shows very well and appears to be free of any kind of rusting or damage. The light blue exterior is paired with a grey and blue interior by LeBaron Bonney and is the top of the line interior. The interior is brand new! Its curb appeal is difficult to match with the gorgeous lines and chrome accents offsetting the exterior paint. This vehicle featured a full frame-off restoration finished earlier this year and also features a freshly rebuilt engine that runs like new. The owner of this vehicle has provided us with a folder full of receipts and documentation of many key things such as the engine rebuild receipt.
