Car description |
---|
This is a beautiful 1930 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe which was completely restored from the ground up eight years ago. It has been driven less than 450 miles since restoration. During this restoration virtually everything was rebuilt, replaced or restored. It has been stored inside and for most of that time in a heated garage. It starts easily and runs and drives as it should. It is painted in original Thorne Brown with black fenders and orange wheels and pin striping. The interior was completely redone with a Lebaron bonney interior. The body is all metal with the exception of the rear fenders which are fiberglass. The car also comes with a rear rumble seat. The tires are whitewalls with very little wear from when they were installed during the restoration. There is still some of the little nubs showing on some of the tires.
Here are the flaws which you may want to perfect.
1) As pointed out in the photos both on the left side and right side lower part of the fender there is some cracking in the paint which should be touched up or resprayed.
2) The rubber floor mat has a tear in it.
3) The rear trunk lid has some "checking" in the paint which can be observed upon close inspection.
4) On the top of the hood near the rear center next to the hinge there was a paint chip which was painted to fill in.
The car is driven infrequently and I am selling out most of my car collection as recent health issues make it necessary that I "wind down" most of these car activities. I have set a realistic reserve on the car (don't ask me what it is as I intend to let the auction run it's course). Even the "BUY IT NOW"price is below the current market value of this car.The car is an honest straightforward car which will not disappoint. I will help the transport company load the car but transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. A $500 deposit is required with PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or wire transfer. The title is clear and in my name. I am not a dealer . I have a 100% EBAY rating. Should you have any questions you can call me directly at (208) 949-9566. I encourage you to inspect the car prior to auctions end and I will try to accommodate that request.
Good luck and thanks for looking!
