A brand new market segment was called the personal luxury car and Ford owned it when they brought the Thunderbird to market in 1955. It was a niche that was carried through for the first few years until the end of 1957. These cars are also knows among enthusiasts as the "Baby Birds". This is because from 1958 on they became more of a family car offering seating for four. This particular stunner is what I would call a great driver. This car from what we can tell originated in Florida and we ...have some receipts that date back to the 1980's. It appears the car has always been cared for and a re-paint at some point a ways back. It still shows good but is not a show car. The interior is in excellent condition with everything in working order. The car also comes with both port hold hard top and soft top which was a pretty hefty option so we are not sure if the Bird came that way or one or the other was added at some point. The car runs drives and stops as it should and would make someone an excellent driver. Comes with the receipts as pictured and car cover.
