I am the 3rd owner and these are the actual miles. There is a log book of repairs and oil changes.
Solid body and floors.
Every panel, door, hood and trunk are all original. Even the shocks are the original ones from the factory. The original radiator however was reworked on the inside and now has new and additional cores for cooling while representing the original shell. The car runs great and cool while running in the heat with the air conditioner going full blast. Typically going to a car show or meet.
The car starts right up on the first turn and runs as it should.
Paint is older and was repainted in the early 90s and has flaws from age, normal chips and wear. It is not a showroom car. It is a drivers car. I give the paint on this car a solid 6.
The interior is absolutely beautiful and I give it a solid 9. All the interior lights, instruments, AM radio, and gauges work perfectly, along with the heat and air. The seats and carpet are in new condition. The two manual vents in the back are smooth and functioning like new. At night when you open the door and all interior lights go on, it is absolutely stunning.
After 50 plus years, it is very hard to find a highly optioned REAL Mustang GT Fastback that has not been taken apart, molested or redone. This is a smoke free car and always garaged. If you are looking for an original fastback that is like it was from the factory, this is the car for you.
