Car description

This car was purchased at Richmond Ford (in VA) where is resides today. It has been adult owned, never raced and unmolested by hot-rodders (a rare find). The 1990 was the first year with airbags which made them safer and more desirable than 80s fox bodies. The car has an automatic which will chirp 2nd nicely on demand all while chilling in the ice cold AC. No rust and no serious accidents. This is a true stock V8 survivor, not a 4 cyl conversion like a lot of the fake clone LX notches out there.

This Mustang drives like a dream, very smooth and quick. Until recently this car has been used as a commuter car and it is VERY reliable, comfortable and fun to drive. The original engine sounds nice and runs strong through the FlowMasters (the only mod). The 5.0 HO doesn't smoke. The interior looks good for its age, the red seats were removed and re-dyed. The OE headliner looks like new. The rear interior panels could use some detailing, that was way down on my list, no biggy. I just painted the car because in detailing it I accidently burned through the paint in a few areas with the buffer. I took the liberty of smoothing out a few little door dings etc. since I was painting it but there is not a 1-2 tablespoons of Bondo in the entire car, it is solid steel (I weld). The title is clean but the actual mileage is truly unknown as DMV improperly recorded the mileage at 216k at some point which is beyond what the mechanical limits support. The odometer is reading 95k and I suspect that it is the true mileage judging by the superior over all condition of the car or possibly 195k at the most.

I started to do a restoration the car last year and go most of the hard and common stuff out of the way but I have 2 kids in college now and I need to make a huge tuition payment so the wife says this has to go :( My next fix was going to be to replace the window rubber around the rear quarter windows and to dye the red panels in the back seat. I had planned on taking to the next level of show car but the next owner will be able to have the fun of doing the last few details or they can leave it as is and it shows and drives great as is. Mechanically the car is fantastic, the only issue that I am aware of is the map light is not working and the speedo jumps around some below 25 mph.

The car has:

* Newer paint

* Newer tires

* New headlights

* New heater core

* New door pins

* New arm rests

* New window seals

* New door seals

* New trunk seals

* New ignition system

* New fuel filter

* New plugs, cap/rotor, wires

* New Oil

* New starter

* New brakes

* Cold AC

* Drivers Air bag (nice and rare in the fox body)

* Power brakes, steering, locks (with remote) and mirrors

* Modern hands free Bluetooth stereo

* Lots of little new parts for restoration work

* ALWAYS Adult owned, NEVER raced or modified

I am happy to help accommodate out of state buyers of they want to be picked up from the airport or drive it home or send a hauling company to come pick it up. I would drive this car to CA in a heartbeat, it is that reliable. I am flexible either way.

I will post a video on youtube with a walk around and the car running and am happy to send that link to you.
