This Bronco was a Frame off Restoration 45k miles ago. It is in great condition. There are few chips in the paint. This is not a show room perfect Bronco but would absolutely make a great run around vehicle. I have been using it to drive back and forth to work for the past couple of years. 30 Miles each direction.
During the restoration all body panels were replaced or repaired. The body was removed from the frame and rebuilt on a jig. The body was then put onto a rotisserie media blasted and then primed with Epoxy primer. The body was then seam sealed with 3M two part seam sealer. The paint was sprayed on the under side with PPG Poppy orange single stage paint. all the jambs were done at this time as well. Mean while the frame was stripped apart and sandblasted the axles were stripped apart and sandblasted as well. The frame was repaired where needed and the axles were reassembled with new bearings and seals. The front axle also receiveda disk brake upgrade. Both the frame and axles were painted with Chassis Black. The suspension is a 3.5" lift kit with all new bushings, new springs, and new shocks. The Motor was rebuilt along with the transmission and Tcase, reassembled and reinstalled onto the chassis. The tub then was reassembled onto its frame. Everything was aligned and final paint was done with PPG 2 base coat clear coat to match the underside. A Rhino lining was done on the interior prior to final assembly. Final assembly included new wiring, a new rollcage, recovered seats, custom electric windshield wipers, power brakes and the thousand little items to finish the Bronco. This is a restoration that was done correctly.
It has a 289 V8 that was rebuilt during the restoration. Power steering was added to make it a friendly driver. It has a Three Speed Manual Transmission and Dana 20 Transfercase that were rebuilt.
It has roadster doors with soft doors and a soft top. It has a rhino lined interior with black bucket seats passenger side has a small tear in it. It has a full family style roll cage with shoulder belt seat belts. It has custom bumpers the front is set up for a winch. The rear bumper is where the spare tire mounts so it isn't riding on the body. The Bronco has a 3.5" lift kit and 31" tires. It is uncut in the rear and has a full size spare.
This is a great Bronco that is absolutely perfect for running around town or back and forth to work.
