For sales is a 1952 Ford F-1 Pickup.
First, the good. This is a pretty complete truck that can be the good start for a restoration or a good source of a lot of parts for a restoration.
It has all the dash components there including the original radio, speaker cover, hand emergency brake, column sifter, glove box door, gas tank, gas tank storage box, etc. Also, it has a complete deluxe heater assembly with controls (In all my years restoring these, I have never seen that assembly before).
And best, this has the 8BA/8RT 239 1952 239 24 bolt Flathead V-8 rated at 106 HP. That is the Flathead motor you want if you want a Flathead. This is the engine everybody is after to put into their hot rod.
All the wheels roll, the steering works great.
The cab and cab floor are in very very good condition. There is minor rust in the cab corners and on the driver side near the door hinge area, but the floors and cab in general are in very good shape. The doors are also good (I don't see any rust on driver side and minor rust on the bottom of the door on the passenger side). The handles and window cranks all work and the doors open and close great. The glass is all there. There are a couple cracked windows, but they are all there and have protected the cab over the years.
Now, the bad. The transmission is missing, there is no title, and there is minor rust in several places. See the pictures. I tried to get pictures of all the rust spots, but I don't think i got it all. However, you can get an idea from the pictures. There is rust on the front fenders in all the typical areas, some rust on the hood, rust on the running boards in the typical places, and some typical rust inside the cab in the mirror area above the windshield.
Please email with any questions. I am selling this truck as a whole assembly for 1 week. After that, I am going to disassemble and part it out.
The truck is located near Peoria, IL. You will need to arrange delivery for the truck, but I can help as needed.
