1930, 1931 Model A Coupe Hot Rod Ford 5 window 1932 High Boy

Up for auction is a good friend's 1930 Model A, 5 window coupe. This is a fiberglass bodied car on a custom 1932 style frame. The body has flush mounted doors that have suicide hinges and bear claw latches. A 1932 Ford grille shell has been installed in place of the original Model A grille. The body is painted bright yellow with mint green scallops throughout. The body also has a functional opening front windshield that you don't see on glass cars. The car has a clear title in his name and registered as a 1930 Model A Ford.

The custom 1932 Ford style chassis is painted high gloss black and detailed throughout. Up front is a Mustang II independent front suspension and in the rear there is a 4 link mounted to a GM 10 bolt rear axle, suspended by airbags.

Power comes from a Chevrolet 305 connected to a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission. This car was built to drive and has proven to be very reliable. A new Edelbrock carb, intake, air cleaner and valve covers where recently installed for a cleaner look. The power disk/drum brakes function very well and are hidden by the new Rocket Slat Flat wheels. The wheels are staggered 15" in the front and 16" in the rear with brand new Hankook tires mounted on all four corners.

Interior is in very good condition and completed in black vinyl. Door panels, headliner and carpet are in perfect condition. The bench seat is from a Dodge Caravan and remains with the stock fabric. Newer VDO gauges are installed in the dash and the speedo shows only 22,499 miles. There is an AM/FM Cd player installed for the long haul. This car has been driven, enjoyed with no issues.

Additional options include, power windows, tilt column, remote entry and the slide out front windshield.

Owner is looking for a change and this is the only reason for selling.

Sorry car has a cast intake manifold and a rebuilt Quadrajet carb. The car also has new headlights with LED turn signals and 1939 Ford taillights with LED lights.
