1971 Mach 1 Unrestored Barn Find! Numbers Matching 351 Cleveland 41,454 Miles with Marti ReportThis 1971 Mach 1 is an all original, numbers matching, low mileage barn find. If you are looking for a good project car, it doesn't get much better than this. This car was parked in 1984 and forgotten about until earlier this year when it was acquired as part of an estate sale.
Runs and drives great! After sitting for so long, the ignition coil, carburetor, radiator and gas tank had to be replaced to get it running. However, all original parts have been kept and will be included with the sale of the vehicle (see pics).
The original 351C still makes great power and the car drives extremely well given it's age and originality.
As you can tell from the pictures, this car is being offered UNRESTORED. Floor pans are rusted through and will need to be replaced, as well as having some pinhole rust issues in the trunk and the usual areas. With the exception of the dash and driver side door, the interior is in fantastic shape and even still retains the original AM radio.
The new owner can decide if a restoration is in order or if the car should be enjoyed in it's original glory.
