Car description

This is my 1993 Ford F-150 XLT Super Cab 5.0/302. I am the second owner of this truck. It is truly Grandpa's truck. It is nearly all stock and the miles are correct. I'm only selling this because it won't fit my family anymore. It has a brush guard with Warn winch. It came with nearly every option available; power windows/locks, cruise control, push button 4x4 and the AOD transmission. It is super clean and a clear title. The tires are older, but plenty of tread. You won't be disappointed in the truck. It's never been smoked in and no pets. It had the OEM radio when I bought it, but I replaced it with a newer Sony unit and new speakers in the cab. I also installed manual locking hubs. Everything works on this truck. You can drive this anywhere. I drive it every day so the miles will change; but currently at about 82,000.

The underside is not 100% rust free, it's 25 years old after all. It's light surface stuff that appears naturally. I consistently get 12 mpg driving around town and 15 or so on the freeway. It came with the towing package and has the factory hitch and auxiliary transmission cooler. I added a 4 pin connector which is hidden under the bumper. I've towed with it and it does just fine. I cruise on the freeway at 65 mph and it's great. The LED lights are mounted to the brush guard, but not wired. I have a wiring harness that will come with the truck to complete. I have the original manual and paperwork you can see in the photograph. The truck is basically all stock and has been really well taken care of. I had the AOD transmission rebuilt 2/16. The driver seat has the factory lumbar adjustment. There are no airbags as this was the penultimate year before they were required in all vehicles. A/C and heat are great; cold and hot just like they should be. There is a bed liner. I had the windows tinted and it still has the Ford Plant sticker from Kansas City. It has the OEM dual fuel tanks; one midship and the other in the rear above the spare tire.

There is normal wear and tear on the truck. There are a couple of dents. To my knowledge it has never been wrecked, mistreated, abused or anything else. There is no warranty on the truck, either express or implied; I'm selling as-is.

My reserve is low. I have it listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

$1000 non-refundable deposit is due 24 hours after end of auction by the winning bidder. The balance is due within 72 hours. I'll do cash in person, certified cashiers check or wire. These are my terms to bid on the truck.

I recommend shipping if you don't live in Southeast Texas. I've used uShip and the process went very smoothly. I'm happy to accommodate; after payment has been received and verified, the truck will be released. If you live near Southeast Texas and want to see the truck, please let me know. You can definitely fly in and drive home too. Houston is 2 hours away and smaller regional airports Beaumont and Lake Charles are nearby.

Any questions please let me know.
