Car description |
---|
For sale 1956 thunderbird. This car is equipped with the 312 v8 and 3 speed standard (manual) transmission The car is currently registered as an antique in the state of Pennsylvania that antique registration can be transferred with the car if purchased in PA.
I can send you a link to a YouTube video that I took of the car in the last week. Email me.
The car is painted "Torch Red" with a red and white interior. Carpet is black. Very nice color combination. According to the car plate (with the vehicle identification number), the car was originally painted "colonial white" and had the red/white interior. The paint looks sharp, and has the normal touch-ups of a driver car of this age.
The hard top does not come with this car. I purchased it in 2013 without the hard top. It does have a white vinyl top. I have to take a few photos of the car with the top up and post. Basically, I never had the top up anyway, so for a nice driver vehicle, it works just fine for the price.
The interior dashboard is faded as you can see from the photos, but the rest of the interior is quite nice. Carpeting looks to be fairly new, the door panels are in nice but not perfect shape.
The engine runs well. It does leak a little oil in the garage, and also burns a little oil, but it is not bad. The 3 speed manual transmission works great, no problems there at all.
Trunk is solid and clean.
4 very nice Firestone wide whitewall tires, bias ply and brand new. This car looks really good and makes a great driver or a great platform for a restoration. I've tried to explain my best. Call 484-477-7810 & my name is Mike if you have any questions call or text is fine. $500 at the end of the auction remaining payment in cash or wire transfer within 7 days.
Again let me know if you have any questions
You arrange pickup and transportation including all costs.
