Car description |

You stopped to look at this 1970 Ford Mustang because you saw a bright red classic pony car for such a nice price. But as you dig deeper to discover the quality restoration inside & out, plenty of upgrades, four-on-the-floor, and a 390 hp V8 under the hood, you'll be running to get ahead of the stampede on this one. This is a classic with a great dual- personality presentation. The first disposition is a bright red sunny-day attitude. It comes from the professional application and modern clearcoat. That means you go for any weekend cruise and all eyes are on you because this one is radiating shine from the paint and those mirror-like chrome bumpers. But then there's also this coupe's darker side. The matte black hood, power bulge hood scoop, and large rear spoiler makes the red on this Mustang look like it's out for blood. In fact, during this car's restoration, a set of selectable color halo headlights were added, so you can give this classic a truly intimidating glare.Inside the dark attitude completely takes over. There has been a solid investment so that you get fresh black bucket seats, door panels, carpeting, and dash. But more than just restored, this car has been nicely upgraded. You see it in comfort items like the cup holder center console, and the modern AM/FM/CD stereo with fold-out head unit. But what's really going to make your heart race is when you see the Dakota Digital VHX analog gauges light up. They shine just enough light on the Hurst shifter to catch your eye, and it gets you instantly ready to hit the road.Under the hood more of this dark attitude continues. After all, the V8 that surrounds the bright painted fender walls and shining Monte Carlo bar looks like the dark heart of this beast. And if you look closely, the etched valve covers will even tell you this is Ford's famous 302 cubic-inch motor. While this was on the option list for 1970, that pony never got anything as wild as this. It's a 1997 roller motor that has been upgraded and fortified with all the right components, including GT40 heads, resized rods with ARP bolts, King HD bearings, hardened pushrods, roller rockers, polished dual plane intake, and topped with a Holley 650 CFM four-barrel carburetor. The full package is rated at 390 horsepower, and we have the dyno sheet to prove it! But you don't need to carry it around because the roar of the header-fed dual exhaust will let everyone know your power superiority. Best of all, you are in complete control of this monster motor and its thunderous soundtrack thanks to the four-speed top loader manual transmission. This feeds a versatile 3.25 limited slip rear end. And because this is a terrific total power package, they also made sure you were in the best control with power steering, front sway bar, front disc brakes, and BF Goodrich T/As on iconic Mag wheels.Complete with plenty of build receipts and the Marti Report, we already know you're totaling up how much this kind of restoration would cost. That's why you know you can save time and a ton of cash if you hurry up and grab this one first. Call now!
