All steel Henry Ford 1932 3 window coupe chopped in the 80's and upgraded over the years. All sheetmetal (body, fenders, etc.) original Ford except for hood which is Rootlieb 25 louver. Details:
- Motown 427 all aluminum small block Chevy (540 h.p.)- Muncie M22 Rockcrusher with dual disc clutch and hydraulic throwout bearing Hurst shifter- Stainless exhaust- Original 1932 frame boxed with lightening plates- Mullins polished steering box- Polished Winters Grand National quickchange- Oversized drum brakes in rear with dual parallel leaf springs and torsion bar- Dropped and drilled Superbell front axle- Stainless 4 bar up front with So-Cal Fake Brakes with Wilwood disc brakes behind polish Buick drums- Limeworks column drop and column with turn signal- Classic Instrument gauges including column mounted tach in cup- Aftermarket heater under dash- Painless wiring- Clayton Machine Works pedals- 80's overhead stereo with speakers- Leather interior (likely from the 80's) with cloth headliner.- Unfilled top with vinyl insert.- Power brakes- Clear California title
Original '32 3 window dash, window mouldings, windshield pops out, rear window rolls down, cowl vent works, original bumpers, original frame horn covers, headlights, taillights, rear bumper bracket are polished shorties, custom gas tank for quickchange with louvered cover.
This is a driver that has been a hot rod for many years. Body work is excellent, doors close as they should and gaps are correct. It's fast and fun but not a show car unless you want to clean up some details (i.e. rechrome the bumpers, re-do the edging on the top insert, etc.). The body is in lacquer with some spiderwebbing that's not very noticeable but present, and the fenders and hood appear to have been shot in base/clear at some point. I have a can of DuPont lacquer I will include if someone wants to shoot those parts in lacquer.
Please don't ask me if I have a buy it now price or want to trade for something. This is an auction and the car has a reasonable reserve. Fire me your phone number and I'm happy to talk about the car or show it in person. Thanks.
