Car description |

1966 Ford Mustang A code 289 in excellent condition. As you can see in the pictures the paint is very nice. The color is Vintage Burgundy, and it is the original color to the car, but not original paint. From what I can tell the top, and paint were done in the late 90's. With the exception of some scratches and chips in the paint it has great depth and rich color.
This mustang starts and runs great. Idles with a nice rumble. Under the hood it has been outfitted with a Vintage A/C system as well as a electronic ignition. The radiator has been upgraded to a 4 core, and an oil cooler was added to keep the car cool in the Arizona summer. Oil pressure is great even on a very hot day. Non-power assistdisk brakes have been added to the front. The car stops straight with moderate peddlepressure. The steering is non power. The front end tractsperfectlywith no shimmy or shaking. This is a great Arizona rust free rare A code 289 car that has been well preserved and cared for in the dry Arizona climate.
If you are wondering what the switches are in the center of the dash. They are disconnected. They appear to at one time serve as an old fashion style alarm, but no longer are active.
Please call me with any questions or to arrange for an inspection. I can be reached at 602-908-9267
