Car description |

This 1950 Custom 2-door Sedan has been owned by my father for 45 years and taken care of impeccably!
In 1999, it went through a complete upgrade inside and out. Original paperwork from Becker Automotive Specialties in Wauseon, Oh available (5 pages of completed work). It also was upgraded this year to Rack and Pinon and power steering. My father also has all of the original tie rod ends and all if you would like to return it to original.
It is very rare to see this car, especially one in this condition at your local cruise night. It's got a few custom touches that are directly out of the 1950s, including dual exhaust, fender skirts, and blue dot taillights. The car is mostly original to include the V8 Flathead motor. Chrome pieces like the bumpers, headlight rings, and trunk hinges really make this car stand out.
The interior was included in the 1999 upgrade.. The original bench seats are comfortable for long or short cruises. The clock and the original radio are not working at this time, but a radio has been installed in the gove box. The odometer is working at this point, but was not for a time so do not have an accurate odometer reading. The massive truck has been custom upholstered with gray carpets and includes a full-size spare tire and jack.
The 239 cubic inch flathead V8 runs great! It offers Offenhauser dual carb intake manifold and heads with 3- 2 barrel carburators.. The electrical system was converted to 12 volts. The transmission is a 3-speed manual with 3-on-the-tree shifting and it feeds the factory rear end hanging on leaf springs and tube shocks. The front suspension is stock with the exception of the rackin pinnon power steering. The dual exhaust gives this car just the right sound. Chrome white walls finish it off nicely.
As a side note: My father has many spare body and motor parts for this car if interested to include doors, bumper, hood, fenders, radiator, original heads and manifolds, intakes, hinges, door handles etc.... Many more not listed...
